You don’t have to be religious or subscribe to any spiritual doctrine to reap the benefits of prayer.
Both science and religion agree that prayer works and can have positive benefits on both our mental and physical wellbeing.
When dark clouds move in over your life; pray to your angles, your guides, the universe, the sun, your favourite sports team, your idol, your inner goddess, your god or whoever you pray to and ask for answers.
Even if what you’re asking for seems out of reach, ask.
We find comfort and understanding when we sit quietly away from the chaos of the world with our palms together, our eyes closed and release our worries, talk to whom ever listens and ask for guidance, this is where hope is born.
Whether you call it pray, meditation, introspection, or pondering; taking time to stop, clear your mind and bring focus to resolving life’s challenges is good therapy and allows us to see things more clearly and deeply.
It’s when we are in state of prayer or meditation that the answers we seek often arrive.
Prayer may not deliver everything we’ve asked for, but, it does offer stillness and hope.
So, ladies and gentlemen, get quiet, and put your hands together for …..“YOU.”
