One day your path will come to an end. You will drop all the burdens and heaviness you’ve carried for so long. Or, you could drop them now. Leave the fear, anger, resentment, hate, judgement, envy, and sorrow, behind and enjoy your life with a peaceful heart.
In fact, the journey might last a little longer if you do. 💛 ☮️
If you want to reduce stress and conflict in your life, try this. If you can’t control “it,” or, “it”hurt you, ог, “it” doesn’t bring you peace, growth or joy, forgive “it”. Let it go, and, Let it be.
They are softer and more sensitive than most, believe in the goodness in others and walk gently on the earth.
They live mindfully, radiate positivity, love, and healing, choosing compassion, kindness and acceptance, over hate, judgment and fear.
They smile at strangers for no reason, talk to stray dogs, leave coins on the ground for others to find and they know forgiveness sets us free.
They are creative, love their colourful clothing, enjoy having their feet in the sand, their hands in the earth, and find healing when bathing in the ocean or walking through the forest.
They understand the interconnectivity between humanity, the planet, and every living thing upon it.
They’re grateful for the journey, the lessons life offers and know there’s more to this life than the noise that surrounds us.
They’re not bothered when people mock their whimsy optimism, they dance in spite of it.
Regardless of whats going on around them, they choose to see the light. This doesn’t make them naïve, it doesn’t mean they’re unaware of the darkness. It means they choose to grow in the light.
They’re not perfect, they often trip and fall, but always pull themselves up with a song in their heart, a skip in their step and a light burning bright in their soul.
They’re the light workers. They are the rays of light shining between our darkest moments and harshest storms. They lift us up, make us laugh, provide comfort and offer hope.
They remind us that all storms pass and beyond the darkness theres always, light.
And if you’re one of these ray’s of light, thank you making our world brighter.
Even if it’s only for a little while. Unplug from the ugly, dark, messiness in our world, and turn towards what’s light, uplifting, nurturing, grounding, makes you smile and inspires hope.
No one survives long in darkness. Like all living things, we grow and see things more clearly, when we stand in the light.
(and when we drink water, and have a bit of chocolate, and pet puppies and grow flowers and make music and smile at strangers 😁) 💦 🍫💐🐶🎶 Toni O’Keeffe🔆
How many times have you; agreed to do favours, taken on extra work, loaned money, attended events, compromised your values, lifestyle or well-being to please others or, avoid conflict?
Of course we make sacrifices or compromises in support of our loved ones. However, when people-pleasing becomes “the norm” and you’re constantly sacrificing your time, resources, or your physical or mental well-being, it might be time to reevaluate the people you loan yourself out too.
Seeking acceptance from others can be exhausting. The right relationship won’t drain you, they should lift you up.
Setting boundaries and saying NO to the things that make you uncomfortable or put you in situations where you’re overextending, overspending, overindulging or make you unwell, is necessary.
Wasting time on things that don’t matter, and those who don’t care, takes time away from the things and those who do.
We all twinkle a little brighter, when we’re sharing our gifts, shining our lights, and, doing what we love.
There’s nothing more beautiful than you, laughing, feeling, connecting, discovering, growing and sharing your music, your art, your words, your light, your love and your beautiful heart and soul with the world.
So twinkle, twinkle you beautiful little stars, twinkle on 🌟
If you got a little messy or made a few mistakes yesterday, good for you, you’re growing.
We’ve been messing up and falling down since the day we were born. That’s how we learned to walk, to talk, to feed and dress ourselves, to ride a bike, drive a car and build a life for ourselves.
This cycle of learning and growing never ends. We make an error, we course correct, we learn, we grow, we move on.
So, if things got a little messy yesterday and yet, you pulled yourself together and carried on, BRAVO 👏 you’re doing exactly what you’re here to do.
Have a fabulous fun-filled, mindful, maybe messy, day.
