She began as a trickle. As she started to flow in harmony with her environment, she acquired experience that made her stronger, mightier and wiser. She now understood her purpose.
She knew she was a unique and beautiful part of a larger interconnected system, that worked beautifully when everyone did their part.
This wisdom allowed her to trust the pull of the flow, to have faith in her journey and, to enjoy the ride.
“She”, is a raindrop. When she fell from the sky, she had no idea where she would land, which field she might help grow, which river, stream, or lake she might become a part of, but, she did know, that eventually, she would become a part of the larger, more beautiful ocean and, that knowing, allowed her to surrender, accept and be grateful for everything she met along the way.
We’re all tiny raindrops that fell from the sky, having no idea where we would land, who would land beside us or where our paths might lead.
We’re also part of this amazing interconnected cosmic system that flows in unison. When we stop pushing against the flow, and instead, let it pull us, this life journey, becomes so much more enjoyable.
Enjoy the journey you beautiful little cosmic raindrops.
This sweet dream carried me away to a field of flowers, where I fell in awe of the tapestry of colour so brilliantly stitched together.
Floating above the field, I gazed down upon tall golden sunflowers, lupins exploding in hues of purple and blue, sunny daffodils and wild crocus all sharing the same soil and blooming side-by-side.
Crimson poppies, delicate white daisies and purple bachelor buttons, their stems splendidly entangled, grew freely, no fences, no boarders, just beautiful wide open space allowing their roots to stretch and grow.
Bees, butterflies, birds and bugs of every type, moved above, below and upon the tapestry all doing their part.
Rays of sunlight kissed each flower, and bounced off dew-drops, making everything sparkle. Tiny delightful buttercups dancing between it all, knit this rich bouquet of diverse colours, scents, sizes and varieties together.
How wonderfully all life here cooperated, grew, bloomed and thrived perfectly together, it was stunning.
Then a single dandelion, falling to seed at the end of her days, but still so beautiful, called to me and asked if I’d like to make a wish upon her, I did. I was moved that in her final moments of life, she still had something to offer, and she offered it to me.
As I continued to float above this kaleidoscope of grace and peacefulness, the flowers became us; me, you, my family, my neighbours, strangers and I knew this peaceful field was showing me, how life could be, how life should be.
Then, I drifted back to this world, and woke, with new hope and optimism for our own diverse, and colourful human garden.
~ Stare into a wild garden for a while and you’ll see how life could be.
Our lives are an amazing and colourful adventure of, sunshine filled days, wild chaotic storms, days that are calm, days that are dull, days that are painful, days that are pleasant, and days that provide a bit of it all. No matter how dark the day has been, the sun stills comes up, the stars still shine, the ocean tides continue to roll in and out and, the wind continues to move the heaviest of clouds revealing blue skies. There is calm before every storm, There will be calm after every storm, Life carries on after every storm, and so shall you❤️.
Not every race will be won, Not every dream will come true, Not everyone you love, will love you back. Not every goal will be reached.
Run anyway, Dream anyway, Love anyway. Reach anyway
Every step in the wrong direction, every dream that fades, every love thats lost, every unfulfilled goal. puts you on the path towards what and who is meant for you.
Nothing you do is ever wasted, nothing. There is wisdom, lessons and growth in everything, even the most painful of things.
When the darkness of unsettled days blocks your light, there’s always a sanctuary of infinite beauty waiting to embrace you and lift your spirit.
Go to the waters edge, breathe slowly and inhale the sweet, softness of the ocean and exhale the weight of the burdens you carry.
Find a mossy, tree lined forest path to lead you away from your busy days, far from whatever’s troubling you.
Retreat to a rocky bluff and let the setting sun melt your pain and relax your worries.
Gaze into the moonlight, allow its glow to warm you and hold your dreams until you’re ready to chase them again.
Before you return to the reality of your world, take a gratitude moment to relish in your own beauty and give thanks for the true miracle you are. Let go of all toxic ideas and reclaim the grace of everything beautiful that’s waiting for you.
No matter what’s blocking your path or causing you pain, nature provides the music, the colour, the awe, the sweet perfume of life and the quiet peaceful sanctuary to help you heal❤️
You may be sent into the lives of others to help them find a way through the heaviness of their pain or the turmoil in their life.
They may not understand or appreciate the meaning of your presence, help them anyway.
Plant seeds of kindness, compassion and wisdom all around them and hope the seeds take root and grow.
No matter how strong, brave, smart or tough we think we are, none of us can do this alone. We’re not supposed to.
We’re at our best when we show up for each other to offer comfort, create laughter, provide light, offer healing and love. In fact, when we’re helping others, we realize, we’re really helping ourselves.
And maybe that’s what this human journey is all about, just showing up for each other, without expectation, because it feels so good when our messy, yet amazing little souls are entangled in this colourful cosmic dance.
